There's a notion in the Tao Te Ching that a good athlete trusts the intelligence of the body, allowing the right move to happen by itself. A lifelong athlete, Lori Adamski-Peek is able to give over in a similar way as a photographer; the camera vanishes in her work, yet captures those pure moments of motion and emotion that tell a whole story.

Covering her first of ten Olympics at age twenty-four, Lori began her career as a sports photographer, but over the last twenty years, her focus has broadened - following the natural progression of a life to include lifestyle, children and animals. What's remained constant in her advertising and editorial photography is a remarkable command of the spontaneous.

She lives with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs in Park City, Utah.
